Deutscher Tag!!

(German Day was almost as much fun as Shane had looking through his purse).

Yesterday was German Day at the German-American Society. Kevin and I volunteered for a couple hours running the "Balloon-Dart" both. It was a strenuous job that involved drinking beer and throwing darts at Kevin, but somebody had to do it. After a quick break so that I could go scoop horse poop, we returned and proceeded to do what we do best revel in German food, Warsteiner Dunkel, and of course polka music. We had a great time even without having a shot of Jaeger (stunning I know, no Jaeger). After German Day we went to a bar and watched Adam do his standard karaoke set of Britney Spears. It was a great day and if you missed it make plans to go to Oktoberfest!

Ahhh 25...........

Now that I am the ripe old age of 25 I feel wiser, more mature, and of course more responsible but thankfully the night that we celebrated my b-day I was still only 24....so hey I didn't have to be any of that! It really was a fun night and I was really happy that so many people came out to help me celebrate! Thanks again everyone! I'll write more about it, unfortunately I have to read for my summer class. Why did I sign up for a summer class again?
