New Car!

I know it's hard to believe that I would possibly want a new car.  My current car, a 94 Corrolla, aka the Beast, is beautiful!!!  And unique.  But yes today I bit the bullet and bought a new car.  It's a 2001 Chevy Prizm, green, and has no sheet metal or paddlocks anywhere!! And the trunk acutally closes! I will have a final tribute to the Beast later on, but for now here's the new monster:

Sick of college being so one sided?

Yesterday I was incredibly frustrated while attending one of my poly sci classes. First the teacher said very nochalantly, as if it were the truth and everyone should just except it as that, that except for Great Britian there was no support for the war in Iraq. I guess countries like Austrialia and Poland, and what like 30 more countries just really don't count. The conversation the drove straight into the "Bush is Dumb" crap that if anyone can't tell really pisses me off. I'm very glad to learn about other people's opinion and I think arguring and disscussion are incredible ways to learn and to be opened up to new ideas and new ways of thinking. I am however sick of the disscussions being so very one sided in the university setting. That's why when I was listening to Rush today there was a caller who felt the same way and was disscussing a new website. I'll put the link here and please check it out if you are a conservative at college. (the website is slightly cheesy, but...) I think that if we as conservatives do stand up to the liberal bias at school we will all learn more and not be subject to so much hate. :)

Get over it!

Just a quick word to vent.......If you are a liberal, a Democrat, or just do not like President Bush, could you please please please quit the "Bush is dumb" argument. If that's your best argument to not like him or his policies then you obviously can not think of any better argument against him. Just please come up with intelligent points so I do not have to feel like beating you over the head at your ignorance. Thank you!

Barrel Racing #1

Sheryl and I survived our first barrel racing in Columbus.  We both did really well and had a lot of fun!  Chance got a little crazy a few times, but overall she was very good.  We ran both on Saturday and Sunday.  We improved our barrel time by about a second on the Sunday run so that was awesome.  Chance ran both of her pole bending
patterns really really well, except the first run in which we, by that I mean me, knocked down the very last pole. Sheryl's horse, Gypsy for being so young and really just starting her soon to be "fabulous" (Sheryl's fav word) career had great patterns and did really well.  Sheryl and I were more than thrilled w/ our horses!  Plus we met some great people and got to hang out w/ old friends (Eva, Trinity and Jimmy).  I'll have better pics next time, but here's a few, and a lot of Chance.  (She's sooo pretty who could resist taking her pic?)
